Launched in 2018 by Abby Gallegos, La Reina began as the marriage between a modern coffee shop and the familiar ice cream parlor in Mexico. While preserving their gastronomic roots, La Reina serves as a conversational vehicle of the Mexican-American immigrant narrative.


La Reina was in serious need of a foundational brand to break away from the conventional Mexington food space.
